All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Applicant selection is based on character and physical and mental ability to do the job. All applicants must be willing to travel. To be considered for the job, potential applicants must complete a 3-mile hike carrying a 45-pound pack on their back, and they must finish the entire hike in 45 minutes or less to pass the physical test, demonstrating their ability to perform demanding physical work
